"Suite Treats"

This concert is presented as part of the Chamber Arts Series at Merriman's Playhouse. Rebecca Hovan, flute, and Christine Larson Seitz, piano. The program will feature suites from different historical periods from the Baroque through the 20th Century. The purpose of the program is to inform the audience about what a suite is, how it began, and how it changed and developed through the course of history. Composers will include Rutter, Telemann, Büsser, and Widor.

Wedding Collection for Flute and Violin
A collection of delightful arrangements by Rebecca Hovan of traditional wedding selections plus two favorites by Chopin. Selections include: Air on the G String (J.S. Bach), Arioso (J.S. Bach), Bridal Chorus (Wagner), Canon in D (Pachelbel), Jesu (J.S. Bach), Nocturne in Eb Major (Chopin), Prelude in A Major (Chopin), Prince of Denmark's March (Clarke), Rondeau (Mouret). Violin parts edited by Candace Thomas.

A Silver Christmas
This CD of Christmas favorites is an eclectic collection of musical styles including jazz, classical, new age, and folk.
